Day 1 - Departs Barcelona, Spain
Mediterranean Cruise 8 Days on the Celebrity Excel starts in Barcelona, Spain. Add a pre-night cruise in Barcelona to explore this architectural stunning city.
Barcelona lays claim to its very own form of Art Nuovo. The Sagrada Familia Basilica is the best example of this beautiful and interesting brand of architecture.
Perched above the vibrant city of Barcelona, Park Güell is one of the most enchanting masterpieces by visionary architect Antoni Gaudí. This colorful hillside park blends whimsical mosaics, winding pathways, and imaginative architecture with breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. A visit to Park Güell feels like stepping into a magical world where art, nature, and creativity come together in true Barcelona style.

Day 2 - Provence (Marseille), France

Stroll the spirit and charm of France’s oldest city, along La Canabiere toward the Vieux Port, where ships have docked for more than 26 centuries.
From the port you can see the Château d’If, which served as a prison for more than 400 years. The site became world-famous because Alexandre Dumas used it as the prison of Edmond Dantès in the novel The Count of Monte Cristo.
Day 3 - Portofino, Italy

In the Italian Riviera you find Portofino, a picture perfect pastel village. Stop at a charming cafe to get a bite and watch the yachts bobbing in the harbor. Explore the seductive boutiques and art galleries that line the harbor and narrow streets. Discover historic sites like the Church of St. Martin and the Castello Brown Fortress.
Day 4 - Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy

From La Spezia, one can easily travel to Florence as well as to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Even if you don’t venture inland, to Florence and Tuscany you can enjoy La Spezia’s spectacular collection of cathedral and the art-nouveau-style villas that ring the hillsides.
